Fear
As time draws near to an event where I will be speaking, I tend to get a little nervous. This is a moment where I have to stop and remember that I am nothing without the power of the Holy Spirit and I can do all thing through Christ who gives me strength.
I recognize that Satan wants to stop me from sharing what God has done in my life and one of the ways he tries to stop me is through fear. The fear that I will not measure up and the fear that I am not good enough or experienced enough. I refuse to fall victim to the father of lies! I choose to believe that I am more than a conqueror through Christ and that no weapon formed against me shall prosper.
It’s vital that we as Christians know how to battle the enemy. When we quote scripture to defend ourselves, Satan is defeated. Remember, the battle is already won through Christ. We must position ourselves for victory by placing ourselves in the hands of God giving Him complete control.
